The number of talks about silver lining continues to decline in August (4.9%, vs. 5.1% in July, vs. 6% in June); following substantial decrease in June from May and April. As we see the drop in silver lining discussions, we can also observe substantial increase in industry taking this crisis as business opportunity. Service providers in digital technologies continue to lead the effort. Examples of silver lining mention include: a) “Global emission plunged at unprecedented 17% during the pandemic up to now – we can be optimistic, that is silver lining in pandemic…” [169] “This pandemic is a shared global experience. It has been incredible to see how communities are not only coming together across the nation but globally to help one another through this. I just hope that the flow of information and empathy continue well after COVID is a distant memory.”; Evelyn Lee, Slack [228]
