AbstractThe goal was to test the applicability and usefulness of 4D modeling and of the 4D prototype software developed between CIFE and Walt Disney Imagineering on a complex project like the Walt Disney Concert Hall project in Los Angeles. The 4D models built with the help of CIFE helped the construction team find many schedule inconsistencies, resolve access, scaffolding and hoisting issues for the exterior and interior construction in a timely manner, inform more stakeholders of the approach to construction and of the schedule, and engage subcontractors in the scheduling process.
