1st Colloquium on AI4AEC
Is AI ready for the building industry?

We are organizing the first colloquium on AI4AEC on Aug 19th-20th, titled "Is AI ready for the building industry? (and vice-versa)". We have a very exciting set of speakers and set-up - see program website.

Pairs of industry professionals and researchers will present and discuss AI applications that are used today, being explored, and envisioned, along with the underlying technology. These sessions will focus on six topics: architecture, structural engineering, as-built documentation, facility management, construction with robots, and the use of AR/VR in prototyping. These AEC-focused sessions will be complemented by two keynote lectures, as well as  two invited guest lectures on AI4Health and AI4Law; and two hands-on sessions to offer a broader perspective on AI applications and enable cross-industry learning.
