The course will be held in the CIFE IRoom, Jerry Yang & Akiko Yamazaki Environment & Energy Building (Y2E2), Room 292, at Stanford University. The Stanford searchable map shows the building as Y2E2.
Take the Train - Stanford is conveniently located near the Palo Alto CalTrain stop with free Marguerite Shuttle service to campus. The "X" route of the Marguerite Shuttle stops near the corner of Via Ortega and Panama (about 12 min. ride). The shuttle back to the tran station will be line "Y", on the opposite side of the street. Y2E2 sits just back from the corner of Via Ortega and Panama at 473 Via Ortega. Another option is a 20-minute walk from the train station along Palm Drive, then turning right on Serra and left on Via Ortega.
Driving to Campus
From 101: take the Embarcadero Road exit. After crossing El Camino Real, you are enter Stanford Campus and the road becomes Galvez St. Bear left at Stanford Stadium, continuing on Galvez St. At stop sign turn right onto Campus Drive. Follow road across Palm Drive. You will pass Stanford Hospital and Stanford Medical School buildings on your right. Turn left onto Panama.
From Interstate 280: take the Alpine East exit and make a right onto Junipero Serra Blvd. Turn left at the 1st traffic light onto Campus Drive WEST. Turn right onto Panama.
Parking: The parking structure at the corner of Via Ortega and Panama has metered spots on the first level of the structure with a machine located near the stairs that accepts cash or credit cards. The Roble Field Parking Garage is on Via Ortega between Panama and Santa Teresa. It also has metered parking spaces on the first level.
Other metered spots are available in the Stock Farm Lot and Tressider Lot. You may check the map for campus parking and shuttle information onlne.
